About

A Prince George’s County native, Denise grew up in Clinton, Maryland.  She attended McDaniel College, in Westminster, Maryland, on a full-tuition merit scholarship and graduated magna cum laude in 2009 with a major in Philosophy.

Denise obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The George Washington University Law School in 2012.  She is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Denise joined the law firm of McChesney & Dale, P.C., in Bowie, Maryland, as an associate attorney in 2012 and became a partner in 2014. While at McChesney & Dale, Denise focused on estate planning and probate but also routinely handled business representation, civil litigation, and employee benefits matters. In 2017, McChesney & Dale relocated to Bethesda, Maryland. Rather than leave her clients and busy practice in Prince George’s County, Denise established the Law Office of Denise Martin, LLC, in Bowie, Maryland.

Denise’s practice focuses mainly on estate planning (wills, trusts, etc.), estate administration (representing executors through probate), and trust administration. However, Denise’s experience allows her to provide wide-ranging legal counsel to clients, whether you are seeking guardianship of a family member, setting up a new business, or creating a simple will or complex trust.

Denise and her husband, Chris, moved to Bowie in 2012.  In her free time, Denise enjoys watching movies and television and walking with her husband and their four dogs, Jax, Roxy, Diego, and Mollie.
